Abstract: This paper presents a new deformable model for soft tissue that ensures volume preservation, which may be an inherently more fundamental property than others for the human organ. And by modeling the organ as a combination of a honeycomb structure with fluid filling the inside, we are able to model deeply-coupled stress in different directions, which should be another property for real soft tissues. We illustrate the efficacy of this model by the simulation of a cubic object.
