Getting Graphics in Gear: Graphics and Dynamics in Driving Simulation
Rod Deyo, John A. Biggs, Pete Doenges
Computer Graphics (Proceedings of SIGGRAPH 88), August 1988, pp. 317--326.
Abstract: They describe a system for modeling vehicles in a naturally parallel manner. The system can be used to animate (in real time) the movement of a vehicle over any terrain. For example, they describe the modeling of a front suspension system. Interesting reading!
