Pseudo-Shadowed Cursors for 3D Interaction

Abstract: We present a simple techinque that can be used to highlight the intersection of the planes of a 3D cursor with the objects within a scene. Such highlighting is useful in object manipulation tasks, where the user needs to understand cursor orientation and position relative to scene objects.
