High-Performance Polygon Rendering

Abstract: An architecture for fast polygon rendering, used in a Silicon Graphics system. The graphics system is made up of 4 pipelined subsystems: geometry, scan conversion, raster, and display. Each subsystem is discussed in turn, and the performance is evaluated.
